Train in Bangladesh Overflows for Winning Photograph

Train in Tongi, Bangladesh

Travel photographer, Yeow Kwang Yeo, captured this train overflowing with passengers on the Tongi northern border of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Taking home the “Best Single Image” award in the Exotic Portfolio category in the 2011 Travel Photographer of the Year competition.

The photographs on exhibit are a captivating snap shot of the beautiful, mysterious and exciting world in which we live and travel. Don’t miss this winning image along with several others on exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society in London.

Show dates are 22nd of June through the 19th of August, 2012. Hours are Mon-Sat 9.30am-5pm and Sun 10am-4pm. The cost is Free.

If you’d like to submit your own Travel Photography to the upcoming, 2012 TPOTY awards, you have until September 17th to enter.
