Top Gear’s Disastrous DIY Motorhome Challenge

June 8, 2012 by JJ in DIY, Travel Humor, Videos with 0 Comments

Ride along on this hilarious journey aboard three DIY motorhomes on their maiden voyages. Hosts of British TV show, Top Gear take on a design challenge that proves to be more difficult that they’d imagined.

If you’ve ever driven a motorhome, you’ll understand the passing semi truck ‘displacement’ and the fear of fast approaching low bridges. They quickly find out out why motorhomers drive so slow, as their rigs sway, overheat and rattle in the wind.

And just like most trips aboard an RV, motorhome, travel trailer, or camper van, the journey goes nothing like expected.

If you’re a gear head you’ll like Top Gear’s YouTube Channel, too!
