This CaraBoat Has A Romantic Room With A Crew

September 28, 2012 by JJ in Boats with 0 Comments

If you’ve always fantasized about a room with a crew… of two, then this British CaraBoat was made for romantics like you. Grab a schmaltzy shipmate and set a float aboard this amphibious fairy-tale vessel for an afternoon or an entire weekend.

A half of a century later, the caravan and boat combination are still a curious but tantalizing concept in design and adventure. Featured in this 1950’s British advertisement, the CaraBoat aims to sweep weekend sailors right off their sea legs. Hiddy-ho and a spot of tea, skipper!

* Yo, it’s a bummer this clip is cut short, so just enjoy what’s there.
