Restored 1950 GMC Futurliner

July 3, 2012 by JJ in Buses with 0 Comments

Newly restored, this rare 1950 GMC Futurliner is just one of the twelve ever made. It dons a sleek wood deck with circular lights and a classic streamlined shell. This old school motor office and traveling stage seems light years ahead of it’s time.

Adding to it’s uniqueness, the Futurliner has a unique center positioned cock pit and is also fully self-contained.

The Futurliner was a concept vehicle made by GMC and toured between 1940 through 1956 in the ‘Parade of Progress’ along with the GM ‘Motoramas.’
