Raising Arizona’s Trailer Suburbia

August 27, 2012 by JJ in Famous Rvs with 0 Comments

If home is where you park it, then this could be suburban American life. At least it will be for newly weds, Ed and H.I. McDunnough. After leaving jail life behind, the couple realize that the pursuit of family life is full of deception, poetry, and an unexpected heist.

The Coen Brother’s, “Raising Arizona” depicts a humorous and cinematic stereotype of trailer trash life— on the outskirts of town, the law, and next to old campers, broken down RVs and an Airstream trailer.  In this scene, H.I., played by Nicholas Cage refers to his new life in suburban Tempe.
