Bike Camper Built For A Surf Odyssey

May 25, 2012 by JJ in Biking, DIY, Tiny Motorhomes, Videos with 0 Comments

This awesome electric motorized bike camper seems straight out of a comic book. You can imagine it’s pod-like shell and rocket ship windows buzzing through the atmosphere on an epic surf odyssey to save the galaxy.

The 27 square foot PVC chassis, mounted on bike wheels, holds a surfboard rack, a kitchenette, storage for art supplies, beach accessories, a bed, and an iPhone steering wheel.

From his motorized bike camper to car shells, mopeds and boat craft, artist Jay Nelson’s wildly adventurous fiberglass and wood creations are true art on wheels.
